Where can I buy tickets to the music festival?
Tickets are on sale now for the festival. You can buy one or two-day festival tickets and also a Gold Pass that will get you into the festival on Saturday, Sunday AND the Industry Showcases from Thursday-Sunday. Click here for tickets

How do I register for the conference?

Click here to register for MUSEXPO Asia Pacific

One Movement MUSEXPO Asia Pacific will focus on the top end of the music industry, and will cater for both leaders and emerging leaders.

One Movement MUSEXPO Asia Pacific delegate registration also includes VIP entry to the One Movement Music Festival, entry to the official event parties as well as all breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas during the week.

How will I know my registration form and payment were received?
You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of registering (usually received immediately). If you haven’t received a confirmation within 24 hours of registering contact us at info@onemovementfestival.com.

If I register and am unable to attend, can I transfer my pass or get a refund?
Unfortunately we are unable to provide refunds however you can transfer your registration to another person. You need to let us know in writing of the change.

When should I arrive in Western Australia?
To make sure you are as fresh as a daisy for the opening party we suggest you arrive by Wednesday 6 October 2010.

We will be running networking activities on this day and registration will be available.

When are the One Movement Industry Showcases and can I get into the gigs as a punter?
The 2010 One Movement Industry Showcases take place throughout the whole One Movement Festival period 6-10 October. These are open to Conference Delegates only and GOLD PASS tickets holders (Thurs-Sun)
Gold Pass holders are permitted entry to any showcase subject to capacity of each venue. Ticket holders must be aware that some venues will be full and access will not be permitted.

Festival FAQ's:

Can I get a passout once I have entered the concert?
No you can't, unless it's an emergency. So please bring in everything you need for the day (including a jumper for the evening).

Will there be a cloakroom?
Yes a cloakroom will be available in the festival.
 

Will I be able to buy a t-shirt or CD from my favourite band?

Yes. The merchandise tent at the festival features merchandise from most of the acts appearing.

Can we bring fold-up chairs and milk crates into the festival site?
Picnic rugs and chairs permitted (must be positioned to the rear of the main stage viewing area).

Are dogs or other animals allowed on the festival site?
Definitely not. Only exceptions are Guide Dogs.

When will playing times and festival map appear on the website?
We are currently working on playing times and with post details on the website, closer to the event date. Look out for the playing times in local and street press.

What time do the festival gates open?
1pm Saturday 9th October & Sunday 10th October .

Can I buy tickets from the door on the day of the festival?
If the concert is not sold out, then yes.

How many tickets can One Movement sell?

I have purchased a ticket for a friend, but they might not be able to come to the festival. Can someone else use their ticket?
Yes. You can change the persons details via the Moshtix website or call 1300 GET TIX 1300 438 849. A fee of $7.50 is charged.

Can I come to the concert if I am under the age of 18?
Only if you are accompanied by your parent (and stay with them at ALL times in the festival). All parents will be required to complete a Family Welfare Registration Form before entering the festival site

Are there concession tickets for children?
No, sorry.

Do kids get in free?
Only if they're aged 4 and under.

Why do you recommend that young children wear ear plugs?
It appears that children more than a couple of months old have the same risk of noise-induced hearing loss as adults. However, a hearing loss (either temporary or permanent) can have a much greater effect on a young child, as it interferes with the acquisition of language and literacy skills. (source : Worksafe)

Are unborn at risk?
For fetuses and neonates it appears the risk is greater whilst the hearing mechanism is maturing. They are also more vulnerable to damage from low frequency sounds, which is of particular concern with most popular music. (source : Worksafe)

Can I take my camera into the festival?
Yes, as long as it's a pocket size camera.

I'm an aspiring photographer and would like to take a few shots of the festival. Can I bring my camera in?
No sorry, professional cameras are not permitted.

Can I take my video camera into the festival site?
No.

Some mobile phones can record audio and video? Are you going to stop people taking them in too?
No, because the recording quality is not to professional standard

Can I take in my portable audio recorder to record it for my own use?
No.

Will the concert be called off if it's raining?
No, unless conditions are dangerous (which is at Sunset's sole discretion). We play rain or shine.

Can I bring an umbrella if it looks like it's going to rain?
No, sorry as it may be used as a weapon. Plus punters behind you can't see. So bring a rain jacket, poncho or dad's old golf wets.

Should I bring warm clothing?
Yes we strongly recommend you do. Whilst it may be hot during the day, night times are cool.

Can I bring my own food to the concert?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food (remember - no glass containers or sharp objects like cutlery).

If I don't want to bring food, is there any food available for sale?
Yes, there are lots of food vans offering a range of tasty meals.

Can I bring alcohol into the concert?
No you cannot. A licensed bar will be provided at the venue. Please be aware that all bags will be checked on entry by our friendly security staff.

Can I bring soft drinks and water to the concert?
Yes you can, as long as you bring sealed plastic bottles. No glass or cans allowed.

Can I refill my bottle on site?
Yes, there are a number of water points around the festival site - check the festival map for locations

Will there be a viewing area for people in wheelchairs?
Yes. We will have a dedicated viewing platform for the main stage. There will also be an accessible toilet.

What's the site like for getting around?
The festival is on a park and the ground is pretty flat and solid (when dry).

Lost Property?
Send us an email at info@sunsetevents.com.au after the show and we will let you know if it turns up. We hold onto items for up to two months before donating any uncollected items to charity

Is there a dress code?
Nope, you can wear what you want. festival is yours, so make it yours. Get individual!

Are bare feet ok?
Nope, you must have some footwear on. Thongs and sandals are OK, but you may want to consider enclosed footwear or your toes could have a tough day.
