Highlighted as a ‘Band to Watch in 2010’ by Rolling Stone Magazine,The Salvadors have enjoyed a bright start to the year, with their single "Atacama Disco" sound-tracking countless surfing trips, barbeques and suburban house parties over the summer, whilst enjoying high rotation on Triple J.
These likely lads (and lass) have been described as a band 'full of blissful, easygoing charm who channel a spirited South American holiday vibe', and their recent performance at the St. Jerome's Laneway Festival helped them stamp their authority as one of Adelaide's most unique talents.
Having supported much loved acts such as Two Door Cinema Club, The Panics, British India, Bluejuice, Lisa Mitchell, Oh Mercy, Philidelphia Grand Jury, and many more across virtually every stage in Adelaide, The Salvadors are excited to release Misspent Youth upon the world.
Recorded with Matt Hills/Andy Russ in backyards throughout Adelaide and mixed by Scott Horscroft at BJB in Sydney, Misspent Youth is a combination of right and wrong, it’s a party on a Wednesday morning, it’s a stolen romance.
