This new dedicated conference and showcasing event is the combined effort of A&R Worldwide (the force behind MUSEXPO and MUSEXPO Europe), Chugg Entertainment (Pollstar 2009’s International Promoter of the Year) and Sunset Events (Australian music festival specialists). Through its partners, One Movement For Music Perth has offices in Perth, Sydney, Singapore, London and Los Angeles.

One Movement For Music Perth came about from a desire to give the southern hemisphere a dedicated conference and showcasing akin to the most recognised and effective examples in both the US and Europe. A&R Worldwide had been scouting for an Asia Pacific location from which to extend their MUSEXPO Conference for some time, and a chance meeting with Perth’s Sunset Events proved fateful.
Sunset Events had also been working on a plan to launch a music trade festival from Perth, so the meeting of the two organisations through iconic touring company Chugg Entertainment (the largest touring agent in Australasia and the third partner in OMFM) would secure the birth of One Movement For Music Perth. With Sunset Events’ prowess in outdoor music festivals, A&R Worldwide’s global networks and much-acclaimed music conference abilities and Chugg Entertainment's passion for discovering and developing new talent, the marriage was finalised. One Movement was born.
